In May 2007, ArvinMeritor sold its emission technologies business to Faurecia Emission Control Technologies, USA, which is a new joint venture partner. Faurecia Emission Control Technologies is currently involved in design and manufacturing of complete emission control assemblies and exhaust systems (from hot end to cold end), Instrument Panel Reinforcement assemblies (IPRT) and Door Side Impact Beams (SIB).
